Theany is Director of Investments at GSIF Africa, where she leads investment strategy and portfolio deployment, structuring and executing investments that deliver both financial returns and measurable social impact. She brings over 18 years of investment experience across global financial institutions and impact investing. She previously held senior investment roles at Citigroup, Credit Suisse and Candriam, where she launched and raised over €150 million for social-impact investment strategies focused on children’s rights and gender equality. She later joined a Development Finance Institution, where she oversaw a portfolio of early-stage impact-driven businesses across Africa, supporting entrepreneurs tackling critical development challenges. Alongside her investment career, Theany serves as Visiting Professor and Director of Entrepreneurship and Finance programs at ESSEC Business School (Paris) and serves on the Board of Back to School for the Planet. She holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and an MBA.
