Éxxita extends the useful life of electronic devices through repair, refurbishment, and selective component recovery, reducing WEEE and associated emissions. The company links circular economy with quality employment and training, creating green jobs and on-ramps for people facing barriers to work.

The Challenge

Spain’s last-mile delivery sector has expanded rapidly with the rise of e-commerce, particularly in grocery and prepared food segments.

According to OECD and EU data, transporting goods within cities generates up to 30% of traffic and a substantial share of CO emissions. At the same time, digital delivery platforms often fail to provide secure, protected jobs, deepening social inequalities.

However, this growth has exposed two major gaps:

The Solution

Éxxita operates an integrated circular platform that repairs, refurbishes and recovers electronic equipment and components, supported by process digitization and AI-enabled optimization. In parallel, it runs training-to-employment programs that prepare vulnerable youth for green, technical roles.
